Homecoming
A live theatre game for at home
The pandemic seems endless. A young woman returns to her hometown because she can no longer afford to pay the rent in the big city. An agency sends thick envelopes to evaluate how well the population is dealing with the crisis. And, on the internet, a community is celebrating the voluntary decision of abstinence as an alternative lifestyle to the cry for the easing of restrictions.
In «Homecoming», the audience members all stay at home. From there, they set out to prominent and remote parts of the internet to explore a story brought to them via live performances and chats that extends far beyond their own four walls.

«Homecoming» is a game for the computer and is played via the messaging app Telegram – with the desktop version recommended. Taking part only with the smartphone version of Telegram is not recommended. The ticket purchase is only possible after an intermediate step in Telegram. Follow this link and open the dialog with the message «auawirleben» in the chat. You will receive all further instructions in the chat.
You can purchase tickets up to two days before the respective performance. If you have any questions regarding the ticket purchase, please contact silja.gruner@auawirleben.ch. Tickets are purchased individually for each person. Prices are: Budget price CHF 18.– | Regular price CHF 25.– | You're so nice CHF 32.–
By registering via Telegram, you agree to the storage and use of your mobile phone number and address for the purposes of the game format during its duration. All data exchanged with machina eX during and prior to the event will be deleted after the end of the event.
In the course of the game, other websites will be visited, some of which require a webcam. For this reason, a stable internet connection is necessary for the entire duration of the game.
